
Good Class Bungalow (GCB)
A standalone house of maximum 2-storey height on a land of at least 1400sqm or 15,069sqft with a minimum plot width of 18.5m. Usually comes with a private pool, garden and garage. Unlike other types of properties, there are only a total of approximately 2,800 GCBs in Singapore

Detached house (Bungalow)
A multi-storey house standing on their own boundary with no common wall shared with neightbours. A bungalow has a land size of at least 400sqm or 4,305sqft with a plot width of at least 10m. A smaller version of a GCB.

Semi Detached House
A multi-storey house joined by a common boundary wall which rises from the ground to the roof. A semi-detached house occupies a land size of at least 200sqm or 2,152sqft and a minimum plot width of 8m. In other words, approximately half a detached house.

Terrace House
A terrace house is a unit in a row of similar houses built above ground level joined by a common boundary. Though joined, each house has its own side walls (even though they are shared with their immediate neighbours), boundary walls and own roof.
Type I: Minimum plot size of 150sqm or 1,614 sqft
Type II: Minimum plot size of 80sqm or 861 sqft

Town House
A residential building designed as a single dwelling unit with ground contact and forming part of a row of not less than 3 residential units. All units have undivided share of the common properties such as access roads, garden (if any). Town houses are strata-titled properties.

Cluster House
Cluster houses are strata-titled houses built from the ground similar to those of town houses. They are built similar to a condominium project but in the form of landed housing instead of apartments.

Condominium
High or low rise residential developments that come with common recreational facilities such as swimming pool, gymnasium, BBQ area, multi-purpose function hall etc.
